Hornby Island Workshops

I had the privilege and honor to be part of the Hornby Island groundbreaking initiatives in preventing violence against women and girls. This work was sponsored by the Comox Valley Transition Society and funded by the Status of Women Canada.

Heartwise Communication Workshop, a five hour workshop I designed and led in the spring of 2014, was the catalyst for further training in Peer Counselling Skills.

Eight weeks of three hour training sessions in Peer Counselling followed. I am proud of the work of the trainees and I am especially grateful for the work of master organizer and phenomenal woman: April!

Finally, I was asked to create a series of workshops on Boundaries (for individuals challenged by codependence). Again, these sessions were spiritually integrated (not specific to any one spiritual or religious tradition) in the heart centered approaches I used when developing the material. I am open to answering questions about any of these workshops.
